THE SUGARLAND RUN SCORES CHICKS
It has come to our attention that Provo rockers, The Sugarland Run average about 12 phone numbers (per band member) from fan-crazy girls (mostly underaged) at ever show. These statistics put them just over the previous record held by Hello Amsterdam's drummer, Ryan Mills.

MCA BLOODBATH?
Apparently A&R on both the East and West coasts have been cut, along with the promotions department and others. MCA is hurting, it seems. Obviously, this is not a good time for the industry.

THELOCALSCENE.NET BIT THE DUST
Much to our regret, our friends at TheLocalScene.net have packed up shop. Here is the story from the horses mouth: “Hello, folks. The LocalScene (as a radio show and site) are on hiatus for the time being while K-UTE Student Radio sort out their technical and internal affairs, as well as while I ponder my future at the station. The show no longer seems like a viable option at this juncture.” You can still catch Greg on the TRS boards quite often if you need to contact him.
TERRANCE D.H
Terrance D.H. is playing guitar on the new Tracy Lords album. We at TRS thing that’s pretty slick.
