Yo Yo Yo kids, what's up? Yeah, it's been a while since I've posted a news update and for that I am sorry. I do, however, have a great excuse. You see, Ponyboy has come down with some weird cancerous tumor, so I've been taking care of him at his summer cabin in Tooele. He's recoving now, and will hopefully be back to normal life by the end of the day.

As you can see, we're changing things around here a bit. We're going to simplify the site. We've discontinued the features section, mainly because we aren't journalists. Besides, since when do cults have feature stories?

Lately, news on the music scene has been hard to come by. Here are a few tidbits of info for you though.

NEW RECORDINGS DIRECTION
New Transit just got back from the East Coast, where they recorded their new record. Tentatively, the record is scheduled to be released on SOME Records in late winter. Think February or something. They are hitting the road with Form of Rocket in October.

THE CONTINGENCY PLAN CD RELEASE SHOW
This show was cool. There were close to 600 kids in attendance, singing along to every word. The line up for the show was, Take The Fall, Day Two, Hudson River School and The Contingency Plan. It was nice to see a local show like that.

THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE
Former The Sugarland Run guitarist, Mike is in a new project called The Electoral College. I caught a show last week and they frickin' rule. Think Dinasour Jr. with A.D.D. It was very cool stuff. I would suggest you check them out.

Okay, I'm going back to the messageboard to be verbally abused...
